Medicanix was founded in 1982. The company started by providing dental & medical equipment repair and service to physicians’ practices in and around Connecticut and the New York metropolitan area. Over the years Medicanix has established its business by providing quality service.
Our sales and service team strives toward meeting whatever your needs may be. Our focus is to meet our customer’s needs by giving economic solutions. We feel it necessary to keep our staff up to date, highly trained and qualified.
Our operation hours are Monday thru Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm eastern time. We are closed most national holidays. We feel it’s our obligation to provide you with intelligent live telephone support rather than the use of the impersonalized internet system.
We provide field sales & service in and around New York City, Connecticut, parts of New York State and New Jersey. Our field technicians are highly trained and can help you with both newer and older equipment. Medicanix is a certified Midmark service dealer. We service a wide range of medical & dental equipment. Please do not hesitate to call with any service inquires you may have whether you are located in or out of our normal service area. Medicanix provides FREE loaner equipment to it’s customers that are located in our normal service area.
Medicanix specializes in preventive maintenance programs and electrical safety inspections for healthcare, nursing home facilities and outpatient surgery centers. We complete full equipment service evaluations to meet JCAHO, NFPA, CARF, and DPH requirements. These programs are flexible and can be tailored to meet your specific needs. Full preventive maintenance programs can be acquired for Nursing Home and Healthcare Facilities. No job is too large or small for consideration We also provide calibrations and safety inspections for physical therapy equipment such as therapeutic ultrasounds, traction tables and electric muscle stimulators.
Medicanix sells both new and used medical equipment. Used medical and dental equipment is available upon request.
